Oktoberfest 2015 - Munich, Germany

Crashing the Bachelor Party

With the wedding in May fast approaching, Ken and I wanted to share some of the ways in which we are preparing for our big day and by preparation, we really mean partying. Most of you are familiar with the time honored traditions of the bachelor and bachelorette parties.  Ken and his closest friends decided they'd visit a couple of European countries and explore their streets and pubs while having some good old fashioned "bro time".  When the girls got word of the travel plans to Budapest and Czech Republic, we were thrilled by the idea and decided we wanted a piece of the action.  The men graciously invited us to meet them in Germany on the tail end of their bachelor party.  Wives, friends and expecting mothers booked their flights faster than this bride-to-be could say "I do!".  The plan was to meet in Germany for the yearly festival known as Oktoberfest.  We were lucky to get tickets to a couple of the "tents" thanks to the efforts of one of the groomsmen.  (Thank you!)  What followed were several great days of drinking, eating delicious food and laughing with even better people.  I  found the love of my life in Ken. Through him, I also made friendships with the most authentic, adventurous, intelligent, crazy (in the best way) and kind hearted people you could ever meet and I'm very lucky to know them.  That's quite the package deal! Ken and I would like to thank those that were crazy enough to travel across the Atlantic Ocean, not once, but twice, to celebrate years of friendship and our upcoming union.  Enjoy the photos of this epic trip!

  1. The wedding team was very supportive. The Seattle Wedding venues had everything a girl might need. I highly recommend getting ready in the bridal suite. They lit the fireplaces and the views from the suite were exceptional.
